It's the greatest! It is pricey, but it's well worth it.

I haven't tried ProActive, but I get a product called Acne Free that claims to be the same thing. It's pretty cheap (about $15 at WalMart or Target), and it works great -- I'd panic if I suddenly couldn't find it.

My daughter uses proactive. She ran out for about two months and her skin was scaly and itchy and had dry patches. When she received her new order and started back using it, I could see a difference in about a week. She swears by it and so do I now. I will never let her run out again. If she doesn't have the money, I told her that I would buy it. Proactive is great!

I had used it for four years and my pimples were on & off but more off. I was under sort of stressed out, my acne came back. So i stopped for 3 months, went to a dermatologist, took the antibiotics and used it again. In just 1 month, my face became cleared up...In about after 5 months of using it again, something came up. I was under major stress. My acne became worse. So eventually i stopped again. Right now, i'm on birth control pills and antibiotics. My doctor recommended accutane after i had the normal result of my pap smear.

Bottomline is: if u want to use it, better not to stop it or else it'll make ur pimples worse.

I've been using Proactiv for about 3 years now, and I would recommend it to anyone. It started to work right away, and it didn't get worse before it got better like some cleansers do.

Believe it or not I've tried Aveeno and it worked like 1 2 3 its the best for me ... not all people have save results some people's skin is compatible with the product some is not. so just try aveeno and i hope it will work for you.

Good luck and have a great day.

It's great! Two caveats though: the successful results are based on continuous usage, so if you decide to switch to another product for a while, your skin may have a reaction; second, if you're dark skinned (like me!) the product tends to lighten your facial skin a bit, or atleast it did for me. Otherwise, it's well worth the price of upkeep.

I used Proactive for awhile and it did NOT help at all. I don't know if your male or female but, the birth control pill actually worked 10 times better for me.

My wife has used it with stunning results - just as the ads on TV promise - it seems too good to be true but it is !!

Go for it !!! It's worth every cent !!

All three of my current wives used it and it didn't help them a bit. jk...

Actually, my wife and daughter did use it, and they didn't notice any real change. My daughter's face became alot more sensitive to the sun though. It's expensive, but if you want to try it, give it a go.

I haven't tried it, but Neutrogena's orange face wash (Walmart) is cheap. I recommend going to your local dermatologist and have them tell you what works best.
