the question speaks for itself.... Why don't people give positive feedback to others? they always give the negative... most of the say "I'm simply telling the truth"... but surely the truth isnt always negative... like this one time I organized a night with some friends.. watch movies and all.. it went well, but the only feedback from my organizing skills was "You shouldve planned it earlier so more people couldve came"... and we were maybe 8 people there.. no one said "good job on organizing this... it was fun and it worked well"... this is REALLY getting me depressed....

I sure do understand what you're saying! Consider this: People can't give what they don't have. Many people are depressed, and are negative, I see and hear it all the time too. I'm reading a book now called "Battlefield for the Mind" about how our thought life is mostly negative and it needs to be changed. Interesting huh! This is when we have to be healthy for ourselves and not really pay too much attention to what others say. Feel good about yourself and the good things you do for others. They probably like hanging with you because you aren't negative, but positive! There aren't very many of us out there. Many people are upset because of their problems, or the world problems, and this causes them to be angry and bitter, but don't let it get to you, you can't do anything about it anyway! lol Keep on doing good things, and don't pay attention to what they say, be yourself and be happy!

It's not fair to say ALL people are like that. I lost a job once because I refused to give the owner of the company information about an employee that would have been used against him and had no bearing on his job. I was consistently reprimanded for giving my staff positive feedback and allowing them to have input in the decisions that impacted their direct responsibilities. I was also met with opposition on both ends (from employees who wanted a dictator and from the owner who wanted me to play "bad cop"). Society is not really designed to teach us to be happy with what we have and to always expect something more. It's really a sad way to be.

Congratulations on throwing what sounded like a nice get-together.

As usuall the assumed expertise of Earths capability budget is lots off base, to make the fact: """"The diagnosis concludes "The life of a reliable and useful water-vapor comments ability that projected corporation-as-typical greenhouse-gasoline emissions over the subsequent century are basically approximately absolute to supply warming of a number of stages Celsius. the only way that isn't take place is that if a reliable, destructive, and presently unknown comments is got here across someplace in our climate gadget."""" is basically a naive and silly fact. with the aid of fact the quantity of water vapor interior the international environment is regulated by ability of ocean floor temperature cycles such with the aid of fact the PDO. The radiative residences of earths environment would be altered considerably extra suitable than even a doubling of atmospheric CO2. New study and pc fashions that form the PDO and the linked atmospheric radiative pass ameliorations that the PDO might modulate can account for sixty six% of the international warming over the twentieth century. The planet has no longer warmed for a number of years, and 'technology' predicts that it will cool heavily for some years yet to come again, it is basically a number of my innovations approximately water vapor as a comments.

I think that it's easier for us to see what went wrong than what went right. When you have a party for example, you have an idea in your mind about how it should go, and when you compare your idea to what actually happens, most things went the way they should, so the things that stick out are those that went wrong. If the worst thing that went wrong is the time you chose to have it, then it must have been a really good party.

Depression is all about friends and family. You will have to learn some time that groups form around you even if you don't know it.
Life becomes unbearable if you don't learn the communication or other factors of the social groups and the games people play.

I do because I feel the same way, so I like to give people positive comments. Unless it's something that I feel strongly opinionated on or constructive critiscism, then I'll say something negative. I feel that they just put people down and make them feel bad about themselves.

I know what you mean about, seems people these days say the negative before the positive, I have no clue why, but if more people would be positive more people would be happier and have better self esteems.....I believe in positive praise....God bless

i think we as a culture focus on negativity more than positivity so most of the time that is all we see and hear so when positive feedback come our way we rarely notice it

Positive feedback is always welcome but you are missing the point. Dont just do things because you want a pat on the back. Do them because you want to. Because it makes you feel good to help others. The Kudos shouldn't be a consideration.
