my nephew is 11 years old as goes to a catholic school and i was horrified when is mother told me he had a nazi symbol on his stomache. his mother is so upset she asked how her son turned racsist when she never taught him no one in our family says racial things towards jewish people and he said he hates jewish people should we tell him what really happened to the jewish people and the genocide that was commited. any suggestions.

Yes, yes please see these days young people only know how good they have it now not how hard it was to get where we are now and as you know information is the key sometime they have to see it not just hear about it. it's a sham that we can't make them live it again in the other persons shoes, so they can see for themselves how it feels and how many lives was lost for nothing when you talk to him take him to the museum and talk to him there so he can see it while he hear about it. good luck

oh Lord, this one is a doozy! i personally would talk to him about what happened to the Jewish people, and maybe try and find out why he hates them so much. I also know that the Catholic faith can be a little (i hope not to offend anyone) crazy in some of the things that they believe, he may also be able to talk to a counselor to find out where this hatred is rooted.

How does an 11 year old child get a nazi symbol on his stomach? Is it a tattoo? Let his parents deal with him.

Try going to a local Synagog. I'm sure the Rabi has run into this type of thing before and may have the best advice on educating your nephew.
