What should i do for my first date?

I am going out for (probably) my first date. I don't know yet what to do. Should we just go to a movie or what? Please give detailed answers or answers that have a complete idea what I could do, like if u suggest i should watch a movie, what movie? I'll be goin most probably this weekend and im in cincinnati OH, USA

and im a boy.

go see a movie "her choice" ... offer to buy popcorn soda, whatever she would like. then take her to dinner.. nothing real fancy just some place decent.

movies are alright, don't go for any weird movies... something funny is good... once i went and saw like history of violence and woah that wasn't such a good idea, i also saw some other weird one... movies are alright, but in all my dating experience, the dates with movies on the first date don't work out, because for the 2 hours your together you learn ZIP NADA about the girl... you leave cause it's getting late and all she can say is you had a nice profile when she glanced over in the credits to check if you were ready to leave... no movies aren't great first dates...

Try coffee (im european and we savour our coffee moments), or light lunch... take a walk down town, play some pool, go bowling, if she's young and fun loving you should be fine doing something, a little stupid, bowling for one round isn't so bad... most of the time i've had my success from meeting up, hitting a quiet pub for a quick drink, possibly heading for a light meal (some girls don't like to eat on first dates, be careful so you're not the only one eating, that's not so fun for her)

take a walk, i know america is all highways, talk to her, be spontaneous... nothing to rigidly planned.. and awe her mate! please don't buy her anything on the first date, nothing tooo sweet, it can be intimidating, unless she's pissed faced.

For a first date it's best to keep it fairly simple.

You could always go to dinner and then see a movie. Or just see a movie or just do dinner.

Have you thought about asking the girl you plan on going with what she would like to do?

from my expirience in life it does not matter what you do or where you go she will go and love every thing you do as long as your manly.Dont laugh after everthing you say ,you make the decisions,dont tell her your life story in one night or she will be bored of you and not want a second date look her in the eyes and make her look away first(critical)just be manly and take her on a walk through the park then get dinner and be manly too the waiter ask him questions like you own the place .you get the idea but this stuff only counts for the first couple weeks of dating. good luck man.

Movies are a bad first date....Do something with a minor distraction so there will be no pressure and some time to get to know one another..Go bowling

well first take her out for a VERY nice dinner. then take her to the movies then i walk on a lake or to a bench or somthing. thats what i woyuld want my boyfriend to do. i am a girl and girls are the best to answet. it all depends on what the girl is like. that is all u need to know then just take her to a place that is like well her! that would work!

go somewhere were thers people aroud.that way its more comfortable. maby the beach or dinner ant a not too romantic place. the movies is nice tooo but you wont be able to talk and bond.
