This error occurs when trying to save a word file onto a USB stick, has anyone encountered this error and have a clue about how do I avoid it ?

Try to save your document onto your hard drive first, and then copy it onto your USB drive. If you still get an error, check your USB drive to see if it is locked. Look for a little slider switch with a lock icon on the body of the USB drive - sometimes people inadvertently slide that switch so that you're not allowed to save things to it.
