Every so often I have a dream that I'm getting ready to go to a formal dance. I never go with my husband (sometimes in my dream I don't think we're married or I even know him). In every dream I'm running out of time to get ready, and for some reason I never have the beautiful dress I'm supposed to have, so I end up having to wear something from my closet. Also, I never actually go to the dance. For some reason, I never make it there. In my last dream, the guy I was to go with never showed up. Another time I wasn't able to get home to get ready. Most times I just wake up before I make it there.
What could this mean? I never went to a prom or any dance when I was in high school, but I hardly ever think about it, so I don't think this dream has anything to do with that.

Maybe you need more opportunities to go out and look beautiful! Or maybe your husband isn't making you feel glamorous enough? Talk to him and plan a fancy evening!

do you feel like there are so many things you should be doing or want to do? maybe you feel like you have wasted time in your life, or went the wrong direction when you should have been going another. maybe you think about things alot, analyzing every aspect to try to figure out a situation but never really get anywhere and end up where you started? Maybe you could try to do something for yourself you maybe never did that you wanted to do, or try to relax more--enjoy life without thinking about it so much. all of this only of course if you feel like it fits

More information would be needed to even make a guess. However, often times recurring dreams are a sign of something you long for or dread. either in the past or the future.

Perhaps it has something to do with some of your plans (either business or pleasure) that never push through.
Or perhaps, they have something to do with your relationships. Maybe you long to see some people from your past whom you've never seen for a long time and catch up on old times. Or maybe you just want to let them know how far you've gone in your life.

It seems you have an urge to go for a dance. Your dream indicates that you care less who your partner is. But remember you will not succeed in your urges for the Divine force checks you from doing this in your own interest if you do understand.

to me it sounds like there is a feeling of getting something done but you dont have time nor the resources to do it.
dreams are powerful things, and when you finally click to what your dreams are telling you..i think its the best guidance out!!
