Normally you drink just a glass or two of water (in a day?). If by drinking lot of water, you mean 6 glasses at once. That's not good. People can die from drinking too much water. This all relates to electrolyte elements in your body: things like Sodium and Potassium which play a key role in the balance of the chemistry in your body. I had problems before with my body keeping too much sodium, and discharging all the potassium out. This is a cause from side effect of Corticosteroid. I had my blood pressure gone up to 200 on the high side, and loss of muscle mass. My legs reduce in size and I had difficulties in walking.
It took me half a year after get of the medicine, and correct the balance of my electrolyte before becoming normal again. But my doctor advised me after heap loads of test for one week that drinking too much water can cause death as well. He pointed me to a medical magazine with a marathon runner died from just drinking too much water, which had caused the chemistry changes in the body. Normally, people just drinking 6-8 normal glasses of water in a day. Besides, peeing is normal don't you like it??

No. When something goes in something comes out. That's the way the body is supposed to work. If you didn't have to pee before after drinking that would be good evidence of dehydration. But you really don't need to drink very much and you get water from the food you eat too so don't worry to much about it. Just drink water when you're thirsty.

Water is good for you . It is good in weight loss. It helps to cleanse your body to get rid of toxins. I would drink water by the glass full as it is better then drinking only the one glass or two. It does cause you to go to the toilet . This is a natural thing to do. It could mean that your body doesn't need less water.

Everyone other than people with heart failure and kidney failure should drink 8 full glasses of water per day.Try filling a container and sipping on it all day so you won't have to pee so frequently. The only way water can help you lose weight is to fill your tummy up so you won't eat as much.

The Bowflex exercise program said that at first you'll have to pee a lot, but then your body will get used to drinking that much water and you won't have to go as much. If you want to speed it up faster, drink cold water. It speeds up metabolism cuse the body has to heat it up.

If you haven't eaten anything then obviously the water will jsut run right through you. Water won't really make you loose alot of weight if any. It's main job is to help break down the food in your stomach with the acid.

no it means your body is not used to it. you are actually supposed to drink an average of 96 ounces of water a day. i laughed when my trainer told me that, then he said he was serious...lol. Water can help you lose weight becase if you drink more water then you will not be as hungry and will eat less food. Balanced with a healthy diet, you will lose weight

I think it is normal to have to pee after drinking alot of water, I think the weight loss theory is it makes you feel full so you don't snack all the time.
