Yeah it is perfectly normal for dogs to have longer periods in the spring and summer months if you dont want the blood to get on furniture or carpets try using womens underwear and just cut a hole for your dogs tale My mom used to do that for our Pit/rot

I have a boxer and she has never bleed. Dogs don't have a "doggie period". Just to be on the safe side I would go have your dog checked out. You don't want to find out to late that something is wrong.

This is probably normal for her, but don't forget, she is just at the beginning of her fertile period. For the next 3 weeks, you need to be with her any time she is outside, to prevent unwanted pregnancy. She should not be alone, even in a fenced in yard, as male dogs can always jump the fence.

My dog bleeds for 3 weeks every 7 months. I have diapers for her & a steam cleaner for the mess. Good luck. Your dog is AOK.

She's Fine!
I breed boxers. She's the right age and it will be 2 weeks. Breed her or get her fixed so ya don't have to put up with the mess.

Bleeding for two weeks is not normal, but not dangerous. I am hesitant to give medical advice without proper diagnoses. I will tell you the same as everyone, go see your vet.I know its expensive, but I also know that your pets life is worth it.
