Yes, and root touch-ups only, unless you want to end up like Britney Spears. Overbleached+fried=NOT a nice look.

Yes, definitely. You will still have a different color of roots growing out as w/any other color process you do. If you have naturally medium to dark hair just make sure you do not add too many highlights or the roots will be even more noticeable as they are growing out. (the light compared to the dark) Also, when you have the roots done make sure you only put the bleach on the new growth- not on the previously bleached hair or it will end up fried, like straw and breaking off.

Absolutely. Make sure this is something you want to keep up with before you do it. Natural is always the best answer for healthy hair! If you want to highlght without really damaging your hair use all natural ingredients. Use the juice of 1 lemon with a 1/4 cup of water in a jar and shake well. Use as a rinse after shampooing. This will bring out the natural blonde highlights in your hair. Wait 5 minutes then rinse. It also helps if you have an oily scalp. Good luck. Yes, you always have to get your hair 'touched up' or you get grow out lines. With highlights though, they are less bold. I do highlights & low lights, I can go 3 months instead of only 2 months when I just the highlights.

i bleached my hair and dyed it white chocolate, wich is a blode blonde like quin stephanies, and all i have to do is touch up the roots as they grow in once a month or every month and a half or so, but i also put in a leave in conditioner called Infusium 23 it is great you just put it in your hair while it is still wet and dry and style as normal or leave it wet and it can dry on its own and it keeps your hair healthy. its only like 5 bucks at sallys hair supply for a 20 oz.

If you highlight your hair by pulling hair through a cap you will not be able to touch up, as you will get a different color each time you touch up. The one thing about pulling your hair through a cap is you have to be specific about what you use and how you mix it to get the same results in color everytime.

YES! no matter what type of color you put in hair (highlights, lowlights, foil, frosting, etc), you will always need touch ups. highlights/lowlights you will be able to get aways with the longest in between touch ups because your roots will not be so obvious.

I imagine it's going to look alot the same as it would if it were growing out from being dyed, it will be different from your original hair that grows but maybe not as drastic as being dyed.

If you want it to look the same!

Yep and it is close to impossible to treat the same exact spots...unless you have a professional do it... it's sad the way that we have to upkeep our personal style so often!
