I have a very severe case of sarcoidosis. It bothers me every single day and i'm 24 years old. i have many symptoms which range from being tired and weak to having my chest hurt so bad sometimes all i can do is cry. there are several different types of sarcoidosis, however its very rare that you die from it. Usually it leads to other things, such as fibrosis, heart problems, other organ problems...hope this helps a little bit..you can email me if you would like...

I had a friend who was only 47 that died from Sarcoidosis. She had sarcoidosis in her CNS (central nervous system). It affected her mind and eventually all her internal organs. Everytime she had a flare-up it came back worst than before. It's a horrible disease to have.
