God who created you fully expects you to have a higher purpose than to just please yourself. He wants you to glorify and honor him. The apostle Paul wrote: “That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:6)

You are very special to God that he invites you to have a personal relationship with him. The Bible tells us that God has a wonderful purpose for every one. This purpose includes receiving his love gift, his Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). Jesus made this possible by his sacrificial death on the cross. He then rose from the grave on the third day so that you may have life everlasting. When you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, you are remade into the image God’s Son Jesus. Paul says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son...” (Romans 8:28-29). We were created to bear the image of Jesus Christ and to make God’s truth known to men.

Your mission on earth once you are saved is to tell others that have meaning in life what Jesus has done in your life, and how they can receive Jesus as their personal Saviour.

-------How to get saved-------
Do you know for sure that Jesus Christ is your personal Saviour, and that you are going to heaven when you die?

First, realize that God loves you...
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Next, realize everyone is a sinner...
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Then, realize that sin has a price that must be paid...
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

And, realize that Jesus Christ died to pay your price...
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Finally, pray, asking Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, claiming his promise of eternal life...
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

You could pray something like this...
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I am sorry for all my sins. I ask you to forgive me. The best I know how, I am receiving you as my Lord and Saviour right now. Amen.”
