why do people freeze leftover gumbo? I made chicken gumbo and I need to know if I should freeze it?

Freeze it if you won't use it in three or four days.

I like leftover gumbo. It, like any soup, is better the second day.

chicken is ok. Shrimp and seafood will get tough and should be added during the last 3 minutes.
