I've been dating a great guy for a year now. He is so good to me and my 6 year old son. I'm actually falling for him. I've been in so many bad relationships that it's hard to believe this one. In any rate, he asked me to move in with him along with my son. There is 2 things that's stopping me. I'm a stripper who have been dancing for 4 years. I never had the heart to tell him what I do because I thought he would leave me. Second, I'm not ready to move in because of past experience. It's always peaches and cream in the beginning. How should I tell him these problems without him looking at me different?? Will he leave me for it??

First, you should of told him what you were doing before it became a year relationship. Second, If you feel like you can't really relate with him then your really not in love with him. I would just sit him down and explain everything to him. Yea, he's going to be upset because you wasn't honest with him. You better let him know now before you are married with 3 kids. He may leave....he may not. It's up to you how you tell him. Lay it on him easy. He should understand. Good luck.

how in the world can you date someone for a YEAR and not have them be aware of what you do for a living?????

I think the problems in all your past relationships are brought on by you. If this guy is worth it- you had better level with him and do it now. If it is true - he will overlook all the stripper crap - BUT the longer you keep him in the dark the less he is likely to believe.

ok i think you should stop being a stripper, and think about yourself and about your son. if you will stop being stripper then you dont even have to tell him what you were, it would be past. and about relationship, you have to try, if the relationships that you had was bad doesnt mean this one will be bad too. if he loves you he will not leave you!
good luck :)

You better tell him before some else does. It is not good to hold out on secrets.
