I truly wish there was some way for you to see and understand the wasted years of my life before I started serving the LORD.

The blessings that he has given my wife and I are to numerous to mention.

There is so much more to what you call religion than going to church on Sunday. I am a Christian. That is my faith. My faith calls me to behave in a Christian-like way in all that I do each and every day of my life. I know that I will be spending eternity in heaven with God because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior. I pray that you will do the same before it is too late. The waste is that you do not believe and will probably find out too late that you are wrong. God bless!

If you are so uninterested in religion, what do you ask so many questions in this forum. You waste alot of time yourself here! Pray one tiny little prayer, in private, ask god for help and just see what happens

Wouldn't it be better to believe, die and go to Heaven. Than to not believe, die and find out there "IS" a Heaven. I at least know where I will be headed when I die, cam you say the same? My life has been made better by my belief's. Non believers have no idea what they are missing out on.

Faith is lived every day, not only on Sunday. You may think you have given up on God, but He hasn't given up on you, and by asking the question, maybe you should wonder why....

I agree with you in that religion is a waste of time. The word of God makes it very clear that not everything preached within the walls of the church are truth; not all manifestations are valid nor are all leaders led by the spirit of God. Seldom do we hear messages preached about salvation through Christ. We have adopted human understanding telling us sin is okay and just apart of everyday life. The fear of God has been removed and replaced with an acceptance of weaknesses in our lives ( formerly called sin) so that we can feel comfortable.
I get the feeling that you are missing something in your life. Maybe you desire for direction and purpose to fulfill your potential. Are you worried or stressed about life. Did you know that their is a better life.
God's message leads you into better, happier living. It brings you hope, joy, love, and life. God loves you and longs to bless your life. He can satisfy every need of your heart, body and spirit. Jesus says, " I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" ( John 10:10)
Worry: " Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" ( 1 Peter 5:7). " Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer, present your requests to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" ( Philippians 4: 6-7).
Loneliness: " God has said, " never will I leave you; never will I forsake you". So we say with confidence, " The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid". ( Hebrews 13:5-6)
Physical Need: " Why do you worry?..Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things ( that the body needs) will be given to you as well". ( Matthew 6:28-33)
Why struggle on your own? Jesus boldly declares, " The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life". ( John 6:63). We need life because death threatens us. We need direction because we get lost on our own. " I know , O Lord, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps". ( Jeremiah 10:23)
Even religious people go astray when they " let go of the commands of God and hold on to the traditions of men" ( Mark 7:8) Why are there so many divisions? Why are there so many broken homes and lives hurt? Because people follow their own ways, not God's way.
All things related to God constitute the only truth we will find. The world is full of philosophies and theories on how to succeed, but they are made by man. If man had the answers, we would not have fallen into sin nature in the Garden of Eden. The true authority in all matters is God and this is made available to us through Jesus Christ at Calvary where He claimed victory over all sin nature and opened us up to Godly Righteousness if we would only believe on Him.
Some people do not realize the suffering Jesus experienced, all for the sake of providing eternal life to us, even to those who refuse to believe in Him or refuse to acknowledge Him. Christ was constantly ridiculed by the religious community. Jesus preached honor and glory to the Father, while these leaders demanded respect and honor toward themselves. This is why they made every attempt to destroy Jesus. Although they finally succeeded in killing Him ( really He laid down His own life), this act only served to open the door to salvation for all who would believe in Him.
