Because white people could not accept the fact that God would choose a non white to represent him on earth because the White man thinks he is the superior race so they portray him as being white but if they study the bible and history they can only come to the true conclusion that Jesus was not white

Seeing as where he came from he was more toward the Indian complexion correct? See here I am still ignorant. It's just that everyone grew up with white pictures of Jesus but other races started to make him their color as well. It is easiest to associate with him if he looks like something that you are comfortable with. Most people are comfortable with their skin and skin color so they make him appear that way. And as history shows the white race has always been the dominant race over the years so they made most pictures white so everyone is brainwashed into thinking he is white.

White people publish the Bible, but Jesus was from a region where the people were dark-skinned. Not saying Jesus was black, but he's definately of African descent

Not sure. People don't seem to realize that Bible stories are set in the Middle East. Same as with Christmas Carols that talk about snow when Jesus was born...what's with that?

Good question. There are no records that he looked like some republican white businessman with a tie and 3 pieced suit. It is clearly revealed however, that The Messiah was Jewish.

I guess I never really considered Him white, His skin color was never anything that I was concerned with.

Whatever color He was, the only thing I know is the Bible said he was not "comely", or handsome. The guy depicted in most "portraits" is handsome, so probably way off the mark, unless that wasn't considered handsome in those days.
