That may never be known, but the bible time after Eden to end of Satan's time is 6,130 years. So they were in day six 130 years and all was perfect when they were created.
Now Jesus will have to have the last 1000 years to make it all perfect again Rev.20:1-6; 2Pet.3:13;

I think of most of the bible stories as analogies, so each of the seven days of genisis are an age, as such that fit quite nicely into earths geological history.
Adam and Eve's story could be taken to mean the time when we acquired knowledge, as such it would be safe to assume that it could have been millions of years before we started questioning who we were and why we were here. At that point we were expelled from the garden of eden, or the innocent bliss of ignorance.
There is no exact record of when we developed reasoning and wisdom, the very definition of "prehistory" means we can have no records.

Adam and Eve could have lived few days, or could have lived one or two million years in the Garden of Eden, during which time they never practiced sex, and never had any children. The only time they knew they had sex organs and saw their nakedness is when they ate from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. The apple is not the fruit they both ate from, it was the fruit of the tree of knowledge, and no body knows what kind of fruit it was. People say it was an apple, but in the Bible there is no mention of the apple. We know that after God created Adam first, He brought all the animals existed in the Garden before Adam and what ever Adam named the animals thus were they called. You can just imagine how much time did that take for Adam to complete. After then, God saw that Adam was lonesome and had none to share with him the good time spent in the Garden. So God caused a deep sleep to fall unto Adam and God took one of Adam's rib and created Eve. You may want to imagine here also how much time did this take God to create Eve. Later on, one can read from between the lines that Adam told Eve not to eat from the tree of Knowledge lest she dies. But Eve was seduced by the devil who came inside her brain through the serpentine cord which is in her brain and deceived her to eat from the tree, and she did eat and gave Adam from the fruit and Adam ate. After then they discovered that they were naked, they hid themselves behind the fig trees and used their leaves to cover their shame. God then questioned Adam and Eve as He walked in the middle of the Garden, as written in the Bible, how they knew they were naked and if they had eaten from the tree which He forbade Adam not to eat from. After which, both Adam and Eve were expelled outside the Garden of Eden after God cursed the planet Earth but promised Adam that He shall be redeemed and be saved through the Christ who will come from the seed of woman. These were the events that took place inside the Garden before both Adam and Eve were kicked out Garden and toiled the earth. The time they spent in the garden is insignificant, what was important to know was what events took place while they stayed in the Garden.

Maybe they never left....
Maybe Moses (the writer of Genesis) just wanted to make it look like the left, so that way the whole world would be tricked...

I truly have no idea. Time back then wasn't measured in terms of how we measure it now in our times.
