Go to the vet already! A pharmacist is not a doctor of any kind, so should not be prescribing anything, especially for animals Don't try to put anything in their eyes. Cats are not people, so remedies for people may not be safe. Get the medication from a veterinarian, or get a written prescription if that would be less expensive. But you need to have them examined. Don't listen to people who recommend over the counter medications for pets' eyes. Some of them will make the problem worse, and then you could wind up with blind kittens.

No you can't buy medications for eye infections without seeing the vet. It is a good possiblility that your kittens have more than an eye infection. I would definately see your vet ASAP because there is a good possibility they have a more severe health problem.

Your local pharmacist should be able to give you what you need..in either drops or a tube of cream.
Meanwhile a good thing to use is this:
Buy Chamonile tea at your grocery store, boil some water and make a cup of weak chamomile tea. once it has cooled off use the liquid to wash your kittens eyes...this is soothing and helps to relieve the kittens eyes, if tthey have closed with the infection it may even manage to help them open again. (chamomile is used in Europe even for childrens eyes, so don't worry, it is a natural product, and very safe to use.

we had some fosters from the humane society that had eye infections. They required us to take them to their vet, but delayed in giving us the medicine by a week. By the time we were able to treat the kittens, their eyes were permanently damaged. Get treatment ASAP.

If your babies have an eye infection, you need to AT LEAST call the vet and tell them what's going on -- they might prescribe medicine you can pick up. You have to be very careful with them - and eye infections if not treated properly can blind them or cause eye issues for life.

No. Most feline medication is intended for adult cats only which will be fatal to kittens for a non-veterniary technician to administer. Get to the vet before you have four blind kittens. It shouldn't be very expensive at all.

Yes, you can at Walmart's.. in a NORMAL Walmart's, you could ask someone there which is best but NOW.. most all of the Walmart's are with rude, non-Englishing speaking creeps from other countries and they woulds not give you the time of day and furthermore, I would not want to ask the creeps
