No...It is not a CHAT

But then again...what do most religious people know?

This isn't exactly a chatroom, but at any rate, I like to pretend that I'm a "grown-up" Christian. For instance, I can make a reasonable attempt at engaging in a rational theological discussion without bombarding the site with enormous cut-and-paste Biblical passages. If you're referring to chronological age, I'm old enough to be a grandparent (had I actually bothered having kids). So yes, there are grown-up Christians here, probably more than you realize.

Are you speaking chronological age or psychological age? I am a Christian, I suppose you would call me grown up in either category but I prefer to see myself as still a child (in God's eyes). I am His precious child and I try to be Daddy's little girl to the best of my human ability. I am a Catholic Christian so to me, Jesus Christ is the second person of the Blessed Trinity.

This isn't a chat room, but you're likely going to find some like-minded friends.

There are a lot of dumb people on here, but for the most part, the folks are trying to help each other.

I noticed that you are very new here. Welcome !

I also commend you for taking the time to post your question in the correct area.

Rather than just post a question, you can also go look at questions right in this area --- if this is what you're interested in, check here.

You'll find that as you answer people's questions, they will sort of get to come to know you a bit and they will be genuinelly glad to see you.

My friend, Kevin, is one of the highest scorers here -- he is a very dear fellow and he posted a Frequently Asked Question blog that you might find a nice read. He gives some very good advice on how to answer questions ...

If you find this enjoyable, you might also consider creating a 360 page ... it makes it easier to keep track of the folks you meet here.

Again ! Welcome to our nightmare !

This isn't a "chat." It's a q & a forum. And many of us are adult Christians. I am an adult Christian. I love hearing the questions and answers of teenage Christians. Are they immature? Sometimes they are. But isn't it our job to teach them? God bless!

As in "Spiritual Maturity"?
I am grown-up I guess. Not sure I am totally Mature Spiritually. But, as Paul said once; "I am running the good race".
