How many scoops of ice cream is 1/2 cup?

How many regular scoops, made with a standard ice cream scoop, of ice cream makes 1/2 cup?

depends on how big of a ball of ice cream you make with the scoop. the scooper only rolls the ice cream into a ball and it will roll it larger and larger until you stop. one large scoop or 2 small scoops would be about right. You could always measure it into a measuring cup. 1/2 cup is 4 ounces.
