i tried the navy and air force but they said they only appect 7 G.E.D students out of the state. i dont want to go to the army. can some one please tell me a program a young man can get into to futher my life and future

have you considered college if too expensive community colleges pay most if not all of the tuition from there you can go to college and surely the us navy or air force will take you... not too mention you get a cash bonus for education when you enlist.
also try the peace corps... pay not great, but the satisfaction and fulfillment is great and it looks fantastic on a resume

I would stick with community college. If you really want to do something with your life but aren't sure which way to turn...get a liberal arts degree and transfer to a university. This will give you a couple of years to decide what is best for you and give you the chance to experience different areas of study. try getting a job and working your way up the promotion ladder, get more education as and when you can, educate yourself. If you work hard, learn all aspects of you job and the companies goals you will advance and be confiscated for your efforts

deends what you like? do you like computers? you can always study and take the A+ and MCSE tests, study on your own and take them and get a job through a staffing agency and then go from temp to perm. there are alot of options, once your ready you will feel it yourself.
