I know water is the most basic, but I'm looking for drinks that have a taste to them, that I could reach for instead of soda when I'm craving a sweet or even bubbly drink.

Water for the most part.

Try apple cider. It's bubbly & sweet! (Martinelli's [i'm not sure if i spelled it right] version is delish!)

There is Lemon,Lime and Bitters. The drink is refreshing and it has bubbles and it is sweet. What about lemon flavoured water with an added touch of cordial or something else. You can add Cordial syrup to soda water. This again is another bubbly drink with an added fizz.
100% juice added to soda water would be a great idea too. A fruit flavoured punch with a dash of soda water is a welcomed change from water.

There are now some good flavored waters on the market. Walmart brand is really good. Especially the peach flavor.

I don't think they have any sugars. I was able to drink them while on the Atkins diet. Also Sugar Free Crystal light is good and helps get your water in for the day if you don't like the water taste.

Try some flavored black or green tea. Or use tea as the base for a fruit drink. Sweeten with honey.

It's really good for you and has a bit of a buzz going for it.

Add club soda or tonic water if you need some fizzzzzz.

7-up has an all natural soda but watch out for the amount of sugar you consume. 100% juice with no xtra sugar, syrups, etc... added - then add some carbonated water and make your own soda! Milk, soymilk products, goat's milk is sweeter and I like that. Water is the ultimate, add real lemon or lime to it. Watch out for chemicals you can't pronounce and man-made sugars. Splenda is not so bad though. Tea or coffee-decalf.

Yes, go with the fruit Juics and yes make sure its 100%. Not just fruits though, go with the vegetables juices like v8 and such. Also multi vitiman and mineral drinks like Ensure help alot. Dont b fooled by some drinks if it has anything other than PURE juice in it it is not as healthy.

You can drink flavored carbonated water. You can add club soda to any 100% fruit juice to make it bubbly and sweet.

*crystal light (you can do the 'shake your bottle' thing too add some spice to your water)
*sunny D (or regular orange juice)
* any flavor juicy juice
* V8
* fruit juice (minute maid is good) grape, apple, lemon, cranberry, some even mix them like cranapple

watch the sugar content in your juices, but theyre still a LOT healthier then any kind of soda. soda has no nutritional value

another thing i like to do, if you enjoy pineapple, and get it in a can, drain the juice out and add about 6-8 ounces of water, and you get some good pineapple juice!

Any juice labelled "100% Juice" is fine. No corn syrup or other nonsense in it. There's various cranberry juice combos, apple juice, pear, peach, etc. I'm partial to cranberry/rapsberry juice.
