Yes, you should see a therapist. You do know why you're depressed and who wouldn't be with that list. There are community places that will see you on the basis of what you can pay. Get help.

I see about three reasons why you would be depressed. The big one is that your mom didn't believe you about being raped, and the rapist is moving back into your house! The situation you describe is majorly wrong. You absolutely do not need to be in the same house as the rapist. Number one, it's not safe, and number two, it's probably going to bring back traumattic memories.
I know you don't want to hear this, but you do really need to talk to someone about this. You don't have to go to a shrink. You can talk with a teacher, a doctor, a religious leader, a rape crisis counsellor. How old are you? If you are under eighteen, then you should call Children and Youth (protective services). If you are over eighteen, then is there another family member or friend you can move in with? You really need to get out of that house right now. For right now, take care of yourself. And be kind to yourself.
Good luck.

You've listed several reasons why you might be depressed. It sounds like you have been going through quite a bit coupled with the fact that you don't have support or understanding from your mother. Sometimes people around us don't know how to support us in our times of need. In that case, it is important to find people who can and will support you through your healing journey.
Warm regards

There has to be someone you can trust....Talk to them! You also should not be living in the same house with the man. You should talk with your mother (while he is not around) and explain calmly what you are feeling and that you need her help. I think you do know what's wrong with you but you are afraid to reach out for help! If the people you are asking for help are not giving it to you....keep looking. You deserve the help!
