No. It just has more caffiene than typical citrus sodas do. It has 70 mg / 12 oz can, whereas Mountain Dew has 50 per 12 oz. That is in fact, the only reason its called an energy drink. Real energy drinks have other ingredients in them, for instance, the energy u get get Red Bull comes mostly from the Taurine and inositol(yayo anyone?)

i bought a case of it cause it was on sale and been drinking at least a can or two a day even had one before i went to bed and got no energy from it but then again i use to be addicted to red bull thats a good energy drink i think vault isnt or just doesnt give me energy

Yes. It's supposed to 'drink like a soda, fuels like an energy drink' meaning, of course that it tastes good. But it is as much an energy drink as Red Bull, but carbonated and tastes better.

It's pretty much Surge 2.0, so I'd consider it a highly caffeinated soda than an energy drink.

Yes, it gives you energy, but only in the form of sugar--lots of sugar. Vault is nothing more than carbonated sugar water, with a citrus flavor to hide the fact that it can rot your teeth instantly.

technically no- its a soda and sold like soda, so i consider it a soda with a lot of added caffenie that makes it "kick like an energy drink"

yeah it dosen' t work though go with rockstar or redbull vault tastes good but it doesn't have much effect

I tried it, it gave me energy.
