Dont become confused between love and deep respecful love in a friendship. You must be young, because its is pretty obvious....if you truly 'LOVE' someone in a long lasting sort of way, you dont see their ugliness.....not just that you choose to put it past you, but you really dont see it at all.
I think that you appreciate this girl for who she is RIGHT NOW, but as far as anything long term goes such as marriage or whatever.....no matter how decent and loving someone may be, it NEVER works without physical attraction too.
That is not a shallow thing, its human nature.

Doesn't matter how a person looks their beautys in the inside. If you feel you love her my friend then go for it a true love is sened in the heart and i guess your feelin it. Who cares what everyone else thinks their gonna move on in life. Whoever tells you don't go out with her cause she isn't attractive isn't mature or a good friend a true friend would want you to be happy and if Jen's your happiness they'd understand/

Why are you saying she's ugly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Love doesn't look at beauty or plainness, it comes from the heart. Ask her out if that is what you want to do. Good luck!

I think that it is sweet. Those people at the shallow end of the looks pool usually feel sad, left out, and as if no one will like them. I suggest asking her out and expressing your true feelings. Good luck! ^_^

Your question is really conflicting. If you do love her, then you would never see her as ugly. Yet, that is the major statment in your question. How hurt would she be if she read your question? Do you care?
