How come so many people get meningitis nowadays?

How come you "Gods" cant heal them? (Yes, I am asking you doctors,)

The population is increasing faster than the rate of infection is decreasing, causing a net increase in the absolute number of patients.

holy ****. this question has so much cynicism in it there's no answer.

btw, i think you mean PREVENT. heal? bacterial meningitis can be handled in plenty of cases. viral meningitis is also widely self-limited, so basically it can resolve itself, with medical support.
