And, to add insult to injury, his father's birthday is today. Don' t you think it's kinda hard to forget your girlfriends birthday when it's the day before your dad's....???

Sorry to hear that HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ME!!!!Hey don't sweat it my sibling all 3 of them forgot mine this year.It wasn't until they had my mom give them a heard time about it that they did or said anything to me.All you can do is give him a chance to make it up to you he my surprise you!!

I think it totally depends on how you feel about him and your relationship with him. I would assume that he truly forgot--which sucks on your part, but still is a mistake not a premeditated way to hurt you.. If you act cold or intentionally make him feel like a jerk--you will just hurt him, that's all, it will not prevent it from happening again. "you catch more bees with honey." As insulted as you feel right now, still try to talk nice to him and say something like "you've must have been so busy yesterday to have even forgotten my birthday..." And for God's sake be nice. If he is a "keeper" he will definitely make it up to you.
Put your self in his shoes -- in similar situation would you rather be treated with hatefulness and rejection or understanding and love? Which one would make you realize yet again how much you love your partner?

Ugh what an ***! I would drop some kind of comment like...Oh I think I am going to take myself to get a facial for my birthday, or something like that. Check his facial expression. I am sure he will feel like a jerk. Or you could say that one of your friends is taking you somewhere. That may work better because it makes him think that somebody remembered your b day, and he didn't! I am sure he will feel like crap. After all is said and done, make him take you out!!! Anyway happy birthday!

I think it's hard to forget. But you know how men are. They forget. They have to be reminded constantly. Some of my good friends don't even remember my birthday. He is only human. Tell him he better make it up to you! :)

personally, i wouldnt talk to him or just act cold to him until he realizes that he forgot my birthday
but i no that would never happen b/c i tell everyone about my birthday every day a week before so they cant possibly forget

Omg. Thats horrible. Tell him he forgot, if he doesn't know. Most likely he'll make it up to you or apoligize.
