WHY do people take LOVE so easy?
I don't think love is something you can throw away in a minute.A lot of people here seem to think that X is an X for a reason and love is something you stop feeling in a minute.
I completely disagree.Sometimes people become EXs because of circumstances they cannot CONTROL.Like one of them moving...
"Right person wrong timing" I think you should GO after the one YOU love, try everything possible and than if nothing works let go.But before letting go try everything possible, follow your heart.MAYBE you will never find SOMEONELSE like her/him!What if that person listens to that saying about letting someone you love go if they love you they will come back...and you do the same, so you guys both get stuck waiting for one another when you both love eachother!RULES are so stupid and meaningless when it comes to love.WE have to learn to trust are instinct..Love is the only time we can be free and go crazy..So its obvious to me that people who have RULES

i completely agree. I think that if you are in love with some one, i mean really in love, then there is no way possible that you could wake up one morning & deceide that you love that person no more. I still have some feeling for the first guy that i ever loved. I never knew i loved him like this untill i started thinking of him all the time. Wondering how he was, & what not. love is not a switch unfortunately, & we cannot help who we fall in love with. True statement. You can't help who you fall in love with, if we were meant to control love, we would be named god or cupid or something. Love is diferent & means different things for everyone. Not everyone feels that love is the same thing, & they don't even get the same feelings over love. Love is patient, & takes it's time, but you will know when you are in love. No mistaken it.

Well, I'll admit I've never had a BF, but I've liked a ton of guys andI feel the same way. I think that those of us who are a bit shyer, or dont' get love to come so easily take it the same way you are, if love comes easy to you because you are pretty or something, then you'll take love for granted and throw it away, then get a new love, like eating candy, throwing away the wrapper, and getting more candy.

Love is a choice, though. Yes, when you "fall in love," you have all the warm fuzzy feelings and all. What people don't realize is that life starts and the constant "warm fuzzies" go away. Real love is keeping the realationship alive when life gets in the way. There will be times that you don't like your partner very much. But if you choose to love him/her, you'll weather almost any storm.

I think many times ppl confuse love with infatuation. They put to much of their hopes and dreams on this one person thinking the search is over but infatuation quickly wears off and won't do anything about it whereas if you truly love someone theres something there that makes you wanna fight and stand by him/her good and bad love is everything its cracked up to be you can't love somebody if you have rules love unconditonally i personally think rules are meant to b broken

I don't think many people really know what real love is. Many are in LUST and calls it love. Another thing is that people beleives that Love is an emotion but is it really!!! I don't think so. Love is much more pure than that. To really love means that One has to reach a place of self-lessness. Now how many human beings do you know who has reach that state of being. I'll say very very few...if you're lucky!!!

I think love is a choice. I think you should love yourself enough not to let emotions alone dictate how you decide to live your life. Yes I can truly say that I loved someone but when they decided to cheat the fact that I left him didn't mean I didn't love him it just meant that I also learned to love me. I love him and accept that we are not compatible. Rule well that can mean control. Or that can mean that you may have to love that person and respect their personal beliefs. not clear on what you mean by "rules"

Love to me is a very strong word i don't use it lightly!!I want to love and be loved!! When i do love it so amazing!! I treat the guy like a king but these days and times guy rather have a gal that treats him like crap and don't care about anything but herself!! I don't think love has much place in this world today!! All the loving ppl are gone!!

I agree with all that you say except the part about not knowing what love is. In fact, it is because they do know that they some-
times sacrifice that love due to certain circumstances.But with all that said, sacrificing is getting to be too much & I agree that you all should go for it, as long as no one is getting hurt, or adultery is being committed, or cheating going on, etc.LOve is love and it deserves to be answered & completed. :o)

It's media's fault mostly. Media, i.e., Hollywood movies, soaps, etc. influence people and show them that love means falling in and out of love with people. It also shows them that it's okay to break up or divorce people without really trying to make things work.
