That is known as jock itch ... same fungus as athlete's foot.
Get some Tinactin or Desitin, spray it on, wear loose shorts, and you'll be fine.
Funny that all the female responders thought it was something way worse than what it is. Just garden variety jock itch.

Dude, jock itch. Buy some gold bond or some jock itch cream at the grocery store. It'll clean it up for you. I played a lot of baseball, jock it itch sucks.

i doubt its crabs, sounds like the same idea of atheletes foot but obviously not on your foot, but just to be sure get it checked out by a doctor
