I say, give George Bush an M-16 and send him to Bagdad.

(and watch how fast the war comes to a close)

And to all you neocons, don't give me that crap about being a commie or a coward.
If the U.S. was being invaded, I would be the first to grab a gun.
I just think the cost of this war in human lives is too high.

When we get so over-extended that bringing back the draft becomes a real possibility. This war or police action is a mess. I would not want my son ( he is nine) risking for a military venture that is this badly planned. I am not sure If George W. would go to Iraq. Do they serve Jack Daniels there?

None of us want anymore of our troops killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Unfortunately, there is little else we can do to deter our terrorist enemies other than attack and occupy the countries that harbor these terrorists. Everyone complains, but nobody has an alternative method that would be effective. This is nothing compared to what will happen if Iran doesn't comply to nuclear demands. Iraq and Afghanistan will seem like small potatoes compared to a war with Iran.

Maybe that will be said when people decide that we should free Saddam and put him back in power. Or when people decide the Iraqi's don't need a solid government and half decent security forces. Or when people decide that all those men and women shall have died in vein because we want to quit half way through the mission.

George Bush did serve in the Military, and it's a lot more than you'll ever do for this country.

Never because there are few Americans that are brave enough to step to the big poloticians and of course, Bush...
There is no way Bush or anyone high in rank would be sent off to war. Thats not what it was like in the olden days. George Washington for instance. He was elected president for his great job in the war. Am I right?

If you don't like it then you should leave now and stop using the freedoms our boys are out there dying for. Those are the heroes, the real men and the people that make America the greatest country in the world, where people literally die to be a part of. And it's people like you, without an ounce of courage to speak of that take it all for granted.

Until the death toll is 50,000. That's the death toll of the Americans in the Vietnam War. Also, Bush will instantly die when he only has an M-16. What if an insurgent fired a RPG at him?

The people that you need to complain to are those that either
1. Voted to put GW back into office
2. Those that didn't vote at all an allowed GW back into office.

If you fall into one of the 2 categories above then you only have yourself to blame.

If you don't fall into one of the two categories, then work at convincing those in the next political election (this upcoming November) to change the political tide.

It's how our government works, and you'd have to be stupid to not vote when you have the right to.

And of course, once again, the 35000 dead Iraqis dont matter. Its all just about americans. Americans americans americans. For christs sake, this is just pathetic. You could at least pretend you have a heart and care about the civilian massacres going on right now, but noooo. America is the greatest country and only american lives matter.
