This is more of a question than an answer. How would you feel if the cops just let everyone speed around and someone you cared about was hit and killed by a speeding car? Would you still hate them? Cops have a job to do and they have to do it. Some get a bad attitude after years and years of putting up with ignorant people but such is life. Don't break the law and you will never have to deal with them. I bet the families of all the construction workers that have been killed by speeding cars are mad because there were no cops around writting tickets when there loved one was killed.

Chances are the "speeding ticket cops" are the same cops you like and think are good. Hmmm... sounds like a conundrum we've got here!
Aside from that, do you think people should be able to drive as fast as they like? And if you say yes, do you realize how many people would be getting killed and maimed on roads? The "speeding ticket cops" are doing an important job keeping the roads safe from reckless drivers. I don't hate any cops! Have a nice day!!

That same "cop" is probably the one that will respond to your call for help when you are near death because some speeder lost control and went head on into your car. Officers have to handle many different call and situations everyday, Traffic stops is a very small part of it. And last but not least. . .if you were not speeding then you probably would have such a problem with them

No, I don't 'hate cops.' Speeding ticket cops are only doing their job...suppose they didn't stop someone speeding and an accident happened that killed someone. Who do you think would be blamed...the speeder or the cop who didn't pull them over and give them a ticket?

I can not speak for all cops...only myself...

Each time a person has received a ticket..they deserved to be pulled over to keep them from injuring theirself or from killing someone else...

We are paid a low salary to protect citizens like you who hate us and do not appreciate the jobs we do as a service to our city, state, and country....

Who protects your neighborhood while you sleep in your bed at night?.....that police that you hate.....

Who monitors the highways while your brother, sister, or child goes to school each day?...that same police you hate....

Who is the first person to respond to an accident that a speeeding driver has caused?....that same police you hate

Who is the first person on the scene to give
CPR to dying victim?......that same police you hate.....

Who stands in the middle of the street stopping vehicles as mourner's cars follows the hearse going to a cemetery?....that same police you hate....

Who is the first person to see the abused, tattered and torn body of a child that has been molested or raped?...that same police you hate

You see...even though we are hated by many...we work hard each day...to do different jobs that many people would never even think of doing.... Most times we are never even given a thank you.....But each day we strive to be the best officer that we can be......

The next time an officer pulls you over for speeding..tell that officer thank you.....he/she may just have been the person who saved your life from a speeding accident that day....

It is OK for cops to ticket drivers whose speed is over the limit. Anyway, it is for the safety of everyone. I do not like cops who protects the bad guys.

Cops are human beings, there are good cops and there are bad cops. Just like all other jobs there are some who do a good job and use commen sense and then there are people who need different job and are too gung-ho about the whole deal. Then its bad to say but some cops are crooked and need in jail, not just for taking bribes but some for not doing there job at all.

They think they are better than everyone. Yea we need them for this or that but, one time I was going the same speed as everyone else and they happen to pull me over and give me a ticket for speeding. I am not fond of them at all.

Yes I surely do. They're not there when we need them. I recently have friends that are victims of hit and run, car break-in, and I myself had a license plate stolen, but when we reported those to the station we all felt like being the ones giving them troubles. They gave us no service at all. Don't forget we the taxpayers FEED them as well as their families. They need to DUMP THEIR DARN ATTITUDE towards us and leave it to those who deserve them, if they dare. Not to mention the parking tickets we constantly get... I'd say, they need to leave us the good citizens alone and show some guts to the bad guys, not the way around. Stop being pathetic, officers...

Actually I have a little cop fetish. So I'm biased. LOL!!

But seriously, regarding your question: You mean "Highway Patrol Officers". I don't agree with you. Unless you meant you can't help feeling angry there's an officer giving you a speeding ticket, when there aren't enough of them patrolling city streets for serious crimes. I hear you!
