I was watching the news like an hour ago, and just heard that Mass. wants to pass a law that, no US citizen can get married with any immigrant at least that the immigrant has his or her papers already fixed (green card or citizen), and you guys said that this is not a NAZI thing.....What's next??? white people can just get married with white people??? 100% racism don't you think so???

I think it will never pass. They should change the law making marriage an immigration preference if they are really trying to pass a law. The way they are going about it suggests to me that they want to make noise and posture for the voters, but are on purpose proposing a law that will never pass.
There is a lot of that going on right now, I notice. I think big business Republicans and Congressmen who take their contributions and vote accordingly think that the substandard education their policies have encouraged has already permanently damaged our intelligence levels. At least, I can't think of any other excuse for this rash of extremely punitive, never passable, legislation being proposed.

Sounds like a good law to me, that would stop all the marriages just to become a legal citizen. It would go for every illegal that come here illegally. even Europeans and their are a lot of them.

You can't call it "racism". I think that law would apply to caucasian europeans marrying Americans, as well.
It's just more political beurocratic BS muddying everything -- God forbid common sense and logic actually be applied to anything!

That is a tough one, too many marriage of convenience is happening though, I will give you 10,000.00 cash to marry my daughter, 5,000.00 TO START, stay married for 2 yrs, so she can be U.S. CITIZEN, THEN GET 5000.00 & A DIVORCE, after 2 years....If you are already a citizen, you can marry whoever you want....DEPORT THE ILLEGALS..

I think it's aGREAT idea!!!! THAT WAY,the people they are marrying,will know if it's because they are loved,OR being USED to gain citizenship!!!!!!
