First of all, I HIGHLY recommend NEVER dating anyone from work. You're asking for trouble as it is.

If you want to stop wussing out, stop being a wuss. Go ask her, but not in a mamby pamby way. Remember, you're offering her the pleasure of YOUR company. You're fun, you're interesting, and she'd be a fool to refuse. If you come off as being wussy, she's going to be washing her hair that night. If you sound like a good time, she'll be delighted to go on the date.

I agree with some people. You shouldnt date anyone from work because if it dont work out then it will be awkward on you and the girl. Just remain friends. And maybe sometime down the road she may give you her number. But keep it as a friendship because work relationships do not work out .

Send her an e-mail or find out a swanky restaurant you might like to go to. Then ask for her number so you an arrange to take her. Easy.

Good luck with it all. I would ask her soon though just in case someone gets in there before you.

You shouldn't go for someone at work. It's a JOB, not a dating service, first of all. Secondly, she may not be single and her honey might rearrange your face. Thirdly, these things rarely go well and someone gets fired or ends up quitting. Not good to get meat where you make your bread. TRY EHARMONY instead and leave the girls at work alone!!!!!

try writting a note, or perhaps email...but along time ago, a good friend told me the best way if you lack the courage yourself, then get a friend to discuss you with another employee that is nearby the person, loud enough so she can overhear, and say that you have a crush or such on her.....my friend did, and it worked for me....he asked me out the next day....

I used to have the same problem (I'm a guy too).
The REAL problem is facing the possbility of rejection.
You have to tell yourself that the WORSE that can happen is that she says "no". And IF that happens, remember...people are like works of art...one gal might think you are unattractive and the next gal may think you are hot....it's all subjective.

I say GO FOR IT! :-)

Obviously you really like her, and from a girl's viewpoint...we like attention and most likely even if she isn't really attracted to you, she isn't going to treat you bad just for asking, and if she does, then thats a pretty great clue that she's not good enough for you anyway....but most likely, if you're attracted to her, she's probably attracted to you too! So my advice is to go for it, and see what happens! I'd love for a guy to ask for my number! :-)

Just do it. You're going to have to suck it up someday. Whatever you do, DONT send a friend or someone to ask her! Just remember, the worst that can happen is that she'll say no. That's not that bad, is it?

Aww. Decide whether she's worth the awkwardness of a workplace relationship. Who knows, she could be your future bride. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Here is the #1 advice you can get:

You are already not dating her

ie rejection won't change your life in any way.
