Was Bush and Kennedy and MacCain ad nausea (and who else) to write this current bill delivered to the House by the Senate wherein immigration policy was radically rewritten to INCREASE immigration over the next 20 years; principally for Mexico it would seem.
Was it a group of industialists doing it for cheap labor? Was it V. Fox doing it for the benefit of Mexico, was it the Democratic party desperate for a win, trying to get a majority electorate coming it's way? Why would any of these dastardly characters do such a thing as write this most recent bill and think they could pull the wool over our eyes? It's appalling to me. It shoots me through the heart!

Big Business wants so much cheap labor that wages will be permanently depressed, so they can compete with China. Since their kids don't go to the public schools, and they don't pay for them, the disastrous impacts this will have on social services aren't a concern for them.
They want this increase before the border is secure or there is an enforceable way to prosecute employers, too, so it would be on top of illegal immigration.
Plus they have a 10 year statute of limitations in the Bill which would create a perpetual 'rolling amnesty' to anyone who could get in and lay low for 10 years (or forge documents pretending he has.)
Kennedy can't be bought because he is rich, but he is unstable, in my opinion. McCain, in my opinion, betrayed the country for Big Business finance of his upcoming Presidential Campaign, and Frist doesn't seem much better. Fox definitely had a hand in a number of the last minute amendments in favor of Mexico.
All I can say is that I am glad it is an election year.
