Easiest way is to let the other person 'think' they have.

Well, usually, you need to have a lot of information on the subject (so you need a good memory). You also need to know the other's point of view so as to be able to argue with what he/she is sayong by giving her facts. Moreover, you need to have a clear, logical argumentation.

But sometimes, it's just the one who talks the best who wins the argument. Anyway, usually, when you have an argument, the point is not to win because you're not going to make the other change his/her mind (depends on the subject).

Rules for guys: If the argument is with a man, just say "yeah, you're right," then shrug it off with a smile. Once the other guy has his pride under control, he'll think about it and let you know that YOU were probably right and that he feels stupid. Then just look at him and say "Yeah, I thought so." If the argument is with a lady, always, BUT ALWAYS, FIRST make sure that she knows that she alone is beauty incarnate. Then just let her know that you're sorry you disagree with her and that it isn't important enough to have a silly argument. Then end with the beauty incarnate thing and she'll come around to your way of thinking right quick.

Oh, yeah, rules for ladies: Just smile and wait. If the man has a heart, he'll melt.

You can win a debate. But an argument exists solely because 2 people want to argue, right or wrong.

When I am trying to win an argument with my husband I tend to start removing clothes until he stops arguing back. Works every time.

Never start one you can't win.

Know your topic.

Know your opponent.

Know your audience.

Know your judge.

Exploit your opponent's weaknesses and your own strengths.

Of course, do you want to win the argument, or win over the person you're arguing with. These two are generally incompatible unless you're just that good.

depends if your right [easier] or if you're wrong, depending which country you live. e.g. In some coutries you can win an argument with guns, USA is a very good example

End your side of the argument with something really vulgar or stupid, that should at least end the argument.

Don't let the other person talk.If they don't get a chance to talk then they'll just walk away knowing that they just lot an argument. If you are done talking but still don't want them to talk then all you have to do is just keep blurting out things when they're trying to talk. Good things to blurt out are saying no repeatedly or just keep saying what when they are talking.First one to walk away loses the argument.

Don't argue with a man if he has "big dick syndrome" or a woman if she's hormonal. In either case, you can be 100% right and still lose.

PS veritatum deserves the points in my book

Have scientific proof that you are correct. Plus the backing of numerous friends so as to overwhelm the other party.
