Your know you are a mom when you try to take a 10 minute shower and get interupted 3 times by potty intrusions and mom can I have "------" questions. Lol I also do the turn and say what when I hear another child say mom in the store.

My answer happened right after i took the test at the dr's: I bought a car just in late march i kept saying i want a four door car, not a two door at the time it was i know ill have kids in this car within the 4 yr loan. and in beginning of may i took my test and BOOM prego!! i am only 9wks along but i have alot of signs now that i know vs when there was not even a clue

Hahah I disagree with the 'you don't complain about other peoples loud children in a restaurant' tagline. My mom has two other kids besides me, and still when we're in restaurants, she takes note of other people's kids and when we leave, she's like, "Did you see those people's kids who were lah di dah di dah?" More often she does it to use as a negative example to us, though...

you know when you are a mom when.......... the little gross things like spit up,snot, and poops don't bother you; you just clean it up and move on to the next mess. you know when you are a dad when....mommy hands the children off to you when you walk into the house after a day at work so that she can jump in the shower or pee in peace. :)

when you call the other parent mom (or dad) while talking to them in front of your kid instead of using first names anymore

When you'd rather spend money on them than yourself.
When you buy icecream and granola bars and other treats and don't eat any for yourself because they are for your child.

After spending the day at a birthday party you are covered in as much paint, food etc as the kids. (My son always wipes his dirty hands on my clothes).
