I never really found a good answer for this question on google search. I am just wondering. Jesus said to forgive people of their sins and God will judge them. God also said to love your enemy. So does God love satan? And are we to?

I know some people will say "He loved how satan was". But I mean does He love satan now even for all of his sins?

God's ten commandments are His basic instructions for mankind. The first four teach pertain to our relationship with God. The last six pertain to our relationship with others.

Jesus Christ summed up the commandments by saying that we should love God with all our heart, and our neighbor as ourselves. The last six specifically deal with HUMAN kind.

No where in ANY of God's instructions does he address how mankind is to relate to the fallen elohim (fallen angels) other than giving us a warning to be aware that Satan poses as an "angel of light" along with his ministering angels.

We are commanded NO WHERE to love the fallen angelic realm. We are instructed NO WHERE to pray for them. We are to resist and be vigiligent and be armed to stand against Satan and his unseen angelic realm who stand in opposition to the Most High God.

God's standards are clear. Opposing Him brings consequences out of justice, not emotion. All who rebel against Him, like Satan, will be destroyed at the end of the Great White Throne judgment period.

"...For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be trasformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." II Cor. 11:14-15

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Eph. 6:10-11

"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the peoples which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: thenumber of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth,a dn compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them." Rev. 21:7-9

We can see from these few portions of scripture that "loving" Satan is to be found NO WHERE. We are to resist and stand AGAINST his schemes to keep as many as possible of mankind from the truth of Jesus Christ.

We are to rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus - we are to beware of Satan as he is a lion roaming throughout the earth seeking whom he can devour. He is also an angel and I don't know that we are given instruction, other than we are not to worship them, how we are to interact with angelic beings, of either God's or Satan's. Angels did not commit sins as that is a human element - the angels rebelled against God and chose to no longer worship Him - and therefore were cast out of heaven for their rebellion and will be cast into the pits of hell for their rebellion and their leading of mankind astray - so I'm not sure that I would say there is the love that we think of missing between God and Satan - God is God and Satan was judged and will be judged again - maybe that judgment is an act of love, just as when we discipline our children. A very thoughtful and insightful question. I wish I could have offerend a more definitive answer. God does not intend for us to know all his ways or his thoughts and this is one he has not shared with me! But I'm sure if you talk it over with him, he will give you an answer, it may be "it doesn't need to concern you", or "yes I love him" or "no I do not" - I don't know - but always better to go to the source when in doubt.

God is the most forgiving there ever was. I'm sure He loves Satan. I think as christians, we are supposed to, also. I think that God loves Satan, even after all of his sins. However, we are supposed to protect ourselves with the help of God against Satan and evil.

I think that yes, God loves Satan. Yes, we are supposed to love Satan. And yes, we are supposed to avoid Satan, evil, and sin. If we fall as Satan's prey into sin, we will need help, and God will help us. We should love Satan as our enemy and avoid what he wants for us and all christians- to turn from God.

We are to forgive our neighbors, and all people, yes. But Satan isn't a person; he's a fallen angel. Just as we are to avoid sin, we are to avoid Satan and other demons. There's no love there, because loving him and what he offers will only lead one away from God.

No. But every human being that ever lived or is living now yes. When you get through with some of that list it will be hard enough. Satan is a fallen angel. Also the second greatest mind of all eternity, second to God of course.

Christians are required to always and consistently display PRINCIPLED love (in Greek the term is "agape"). This form of love prevents godly persons from retaliating against even their enemies. Note that even the angels refuse to use abusive speech to Satan:

(Zechariah 3:2) Then the angel of Jehovah said to Satan: "Jehovah rebuke you, O Satan, yes, Jehovah rebuke you

(Jude 9) But when Michael the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses' body, he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms, but said: "May Jehovah rebuke you."

Despite this, all who worship Jehovah clearly understand that Satan is the enemy of all that is holy. It is even correct to say that Satan is hated, in the sense that he and his Satanic agents are to be avoided:
(Psalm 139:21,22) Do I not hate those who are intensely hating you, O Jehovah, And do I not feel a loathing for those revolting against you? With a complete hatred I do hate them. They have become to me real enemies.

in my opinion - no. Satan is pure evil. We are not suppose to love evil.

We are suppose to love one another ~ but, that doesn't mean to love the sin in people's lives.

"Love the sinner, hate the sin." (a difficult concept for non-Christians to accept/understand; but it's exactly what it is.)

God Bless.

To do that would mean to betray God. Satan is the enemy of God and therefore our enemy also.

Of course he doesn't love satan. Satan is his rival. He's always trying to outdue God. He'll never win! Satan's a liar,he's evil and he is wicked .And if I was to love Satan, that would make me one of his followers. I'm God's child. I belong only unto him.

We are to love other Christians. We are to forgive people who hurt us and not keep a grudge or do revenge (unlike muslims). Satanis not a human being but an entity so we do not have to forgive it. The satan was lucifer who using his free will decided to revold....enough?
