It is 6-6-6, and I don't believe in that nonsense, but do you believe that?

In a word, no.

Your question seems straight-forward, so I'll honor that with a straight-forward reply:

no, today is not the end of the world.

at least...now it's not. ...and not now, either. And not now. Hmmm...no, not now. Maybe now?.... no, not now.

But if you'll also permit me, please let me quote a great source of knowledge of when the end of the world will be...

...(and if you pay attention to the last sentence below, you'll see exactly why I'd think today would NEVER be the end of the world, because you're expecting it!)...

I found this in the Second Letter of Peter, Chapter 3 in the Holy Bible, NASB version:

The Coming Day of the Lord
3(F)Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,

4and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation."

5For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water,
6through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water...
8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, (Y)not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

A New Heaven and Earth

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the (AD)elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

No, I mean there was a June 6th 1706, June 6th 1806, and June 6th 1906, all would look like 6-6-06 on a calendar, Did the world end then?

Since there have been 6-6-6's and 6-6-66's in each century and nothing has ruined the world, I surmise that nothing will happen this 6-6-6.

It probably isn't the end of the world today. But the Bible didn't say that it would be; it said that 666 is the number of the antichrist. There are a lot of events told about in the book of Revelation that still have yet to pass. I believe they will...eventually.

No, I don't believe in this superstition. In fact, some nut jobs out there might and take it upon themselves to cause some trouble.
