Assuming for the sake of argument that the Christian mythology is true, of course it's not a fair judging. Just because God is more powerful than we are and made us doesn't automatically give him the right to tell me what to do. Granting us free will is philosophically identical to granting us control over our own being. It's irrelevant that he made us. It's just like the government, just because it's big and has all the guns doesn't give it any actual authority over us other than what it takes by force (in God's case, threats of hell).

Yes. I believe He will judge us fairly. The 10 commandments are in place as a guide. There are exceptions to every rule and only HE will be able to JUDGE whether we followed a particular rule or not and why not. He did say, in so many words, that none but the perfect will enter Heaven. But, in those words, I don't think He meant that anyone who broke his commandments will go to HELL. I believe that most of us will go through a purification process to rid us of the sins we have. The ones who have KNOWLINGLY done major/mortal sins such as murder will have to be judged only by Him for reconciliation. I mean, why was the murder committed? Was it self-defense? Was the person AWARE that the sin he was committing was murder? Believe me, not all who lives on the face of this earth is aware of the commandments and some have never, ever even heard of God. Do you think He will hold murder against them if they are not even AWARE that they were committing the act of murder? Would that be fair? That's why judgement is left up to HIM and HIM ONLY. He will decide what is fair and unfair according to all circumstances surrounding the sin. Even if some people are not AWARE, do you think He would, in all fairness, just throw them into HELL and they don't even know WHY they were put there? By the way, murder is not just the taking of a life. We murder people every day by lying on them. That little thing we call a tongue has the power to kill a little of the person we have lied on, lied to, etc. Murder is all in the interpretation(s) of the word. The same goes for all of his commandments.
An example (relating to everyday life): Think of our traffic laws. The law (commandment) states that we should not run a stop sign. We do (sin), we get stopped, we get a traffic ticket (pending punishment). We end up having to pay for the ticket and possibly having an increase in our insurance. The insurance company won't immediately drop us (judgment); they simply will charge us more for insurance (penalty). That's our payment for wrong-doing. If we continue to drive and don't get tickets or traffic violations, say for the next few years (repentence), the insurance company will lower our rates (forgiveness) and we can save money (slate wiped clean for a new beginning). Same thing with God and His judgement. We HAVE to pay for WHAT we do, but with penance (prayer and striving not to do it again), we can have sins wiped clean and have a greater chance of being with Him in Heaven on Judgement Day!!!

God will judge us on how much we have loved Him and on how much we have loved our fellow man. All of the other commandments are linked to these two commandments. When we stand before God to be judged it will be us who judge ourselves. Every act of our lives will be replayed back to us and we will not be able to hide from others anything that we have done. Our own conscience will reward or condemn us. All of us will have done things wrong during this life, but those of us who have earnestly tried to overcome sin and improve our lives by following Christ's example will be judged worthy. Those who have made little effort or who enjoy sin will not have the same reward.
If it was not for the atonement of Jesus Christ, none of us could obtain salvation and it is his decision finally that will decide our reward in the next life. Those who believe that they are already saved by giving lip service to God are sadly mistaken. We accept Jesus Christ into our hearts by the kind of life we live.
We will be judged according to the law that we have known. If we have never been given the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ we will be judged according to the law that we did know. Those who are incapable of understanding what sin is (small children and some mentally disabled people) will not be judged because they know no law. They will inherit exaltation automatically. Baptism of little children is an abomination as little children are without sin.

God is a loving being. I am sure we will be judged according to what we know and what our reality in this world was. I think it would take a lot for God to send some one to burn in Hell. I think that even Murders and Child Molesters have a chance. We are all infected with the sin virus. I think if we are sorry and try the best bestest we can with the tools we have and our knowlege; God will be there waiting in open arms. A lot of good people do some very bad things. But that doesnt make them all bad.

Exactly. And what's more, God judges by the heart. As 1 Samuel 16:7 says, man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart. Jesus said just looking at a woman to lust after her is committing adultery in your heart. Even so, coveting is a sin, or just wanting to steal.
We're guilty not just of what we've done but of what we'd have done if we could have gotten away with it. There will indeed be a lot of moral people who'll end up in Hell. Jesus said unless we repent we will all likewise perish (Luke 13:1-5). Our only hope isn't in being good enough, but admitting we're not and finding MERCY through Jesus.

all human beings judges in some technique. some are extra effective formidable than others. This judgementalism is what reasons a number of the 'heated' controversies related to concept and non-concept. Judgment on an extra places a man or woman into 'risk-free practices' mode. I even have had very stimulating conversations with atheists and agnostics. as properly right here, the communication is proscribed to the reaction to, wording of, a question. The Jehovah Witnesses are like a number of different technique, there are outstanding and unsafe, getting to correctly known the great ones are consistently complicated and by using and massive already, in recognition, injured by the no longer as much as determining. Many Jehovah Witnesses do no longer evaluate contained in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, by rejecting that they perform consistent with constrained understanding.

Yes, the judging will be fair simply because the Scripture teaches that we are all going to have to give an account for "the entire Word of God, every jot and tittle". So whatever standards that God has laid out in the Word for judgement purposes are the same standards with which we'll be judged, regardless of whether or not we've done certain things. I do believe that God will be merciful in many instances, but I also believe that these "deathbed" confessions of faith aren't going to cut it when you've had an entire lifetime to dedicate yourself to being able to fall up under God's standards and live the life that was set before you.

No one on this God-given earth actually "knows" God, only what is written in the Bible which is believed to be the word of God. All you are going to get are a bunch of solipsistic answers of people "telling" you what God is going to do. The truth is, nobody knows. But I will give you my opinion based on what my faith(Catholic)teaches: God judges fairly, and He realizes that people will break the Commandments. What matters most is what's in your heart the day of reckoning. Now that's not to say you can kill people, and then quickly beg for forgiveness when you discover the end is near. No. It doesn't work like that. God judges you based on the purity of your heart when you die. Many people, however, will end up in Purgatory, though this is what my religion teaches. Everyone else doesn't believe in Purgatory(because it's not in the Bible).
But again, these are "my" beliefs, and there just as good as anybody else's. What do you believe?

Yes. He is the only true and just Judge. No matter who you are or who you portray to others to be(the secret things), God will judge fairly. He says that in that day many will cry out Lord don't you remember me but he will say depart from Him you worker of iniquity. Many will think they are going home with Him but they will be disappointed. Everyone has broken the 10 Commandments. The Word of God says we have. He says we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And if any man/woman say that they haven't sinned they make God a liar and He cannot lie. Morality alone will not get you to Heaven. Faith without works is dead. We humans have deemed what is 'a little sin(lying)' and a big sin(murdering, fornicating, molestation, etc) but to God sin is sin. That is why Jesus came and died for our sins. If we confess with our mouth,Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with our hearts that we believe and are justified, and it is with our mouths that we confess and are saved. There is only one sin that you cannot get forgiveness for and that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. You have to believe that God is not evil. Now we are put here on earth for a reason, we all have a purpose. When we are judged, we are judged by Gods standards, not those of man. So if you are not following the examples of God in the Bible and you do not repent of your sins, then you will probably think God is not judging you unfairly, but if you follow the examples in the Bible you will be fine. Make sure you are not judging yourself from the stand point of man, but look at yourself by God's standards.

God is very just & righteous. Oh, & He doesn't judge us by the 10 commandments. It all comes down to what we do with Jesus (God's bridge to eternal life).
It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done (I have broken most of the 10 at least once, some thousands of times). God knows we all sin, that is why He sent His son to pay the penalty for our sins. If we (anyone) puts their trust for salvation in Jesus & gives their heart to God they will have eternal life.
