1 cup of water per every cup of rice. 1 to 1 ratio. Using more water will make the rice mushy.
Plug it in and it'll take approximately 30 minutes to cook.
Let the rice steam for about 15 minutes after it cooks.

Yes, I live out of my rice cooker. It is super easy. Basically just put one cup of water per cup of rice you are cooking. So if you are making two cups of rice, you need two cups of water. The exception to this is if you are only cooking one cup of rice, then you need two cups of water. Then once you have equal amounts of water and rice you just flip the switch to cook, or high, whatever your machine says on it and put the lid on. Once it flips the switch back to warm it is done. The cooker knows when it is done based on the weight change of cooked rice. You do not stir rice at all. You may find directions more specific to your machine on the internet for the maker. I would check there if my directions don't seem to apply to your cooker. Enjoy!

I bet you lost the measuring cup, too? Usually these things have marks on the inside of the bowl to show you how far up to fill it with water. One measuring cup rice = 1 mark. The marks correspond to 'measuring cups' of dry rice. It's usually about a half-regular-cup size, so give it a shot. Coat the bowl well with oil first, then if it burns the rice it'll be easier to get out!
Good luck!
