I am a Muslim and Muslims believe that there is only one God and his name is "Allah". That is even the name of God in Bible, and Hindu Scriptures.

Muslims also believe that Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is the last Messenger of Allah..

Islam is the only Non-Christian faith which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus(peace be upon Him). Muslims believe that Jesus(peace be upon Him) was one of the Mightiest Messengers of the God. We believe in his miraculous birth which many modern day Christians do no belive.

Finally, Muslims believe that Mary(peace be upon Her) (Miriam) was chosen above he women of all nations.

Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.
(Al-Qur'an 3:42)

I can quote about Islam all the time but I know you wont like to read long answer so if you want any more information, please contact me at shiekhtm@yahoo.com

THE TRUE RELIGION IS A FOLLOWER OF (COL.2:6; 1PETER 2:21)JESUS CHRIST AND THE APOSTLES (EPH.2:20).
A CHRISTIAN LIVES BY EVERY WORD OF GOD(LUKE 4:4). HE/SHE FOLLOWS ALL OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS (EXOD.20:1-17; 1JOHN 2:3; REV.14:12)INCLUDING THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH WHICH IS SATURDAY (JOHN 4:22-24; REV.14:7).
HE/SHE KEEPS ALL OF GOD'S HOLY DAYS (LEV.23; JOHN 7:2,14; ACTS 2:1; 12:320:6,16; ROM.5:11; 1THESS.4:16). HE/SHE KEEPS THEIR BODY FROM HARM(1COR.9:27) BY NOT EATING THE UNCLEAN MEATS(ISAIAH 66:17) AND BY NOT DRINKING TOO MUCH ALCOHOL OR WINE (PROV.20:1; 23:29-33; EPH.5:18 AND 1TIM.3:8).
HE?SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE PAGAN DAYS IN JER.10; GAL.4:8-10 & REV.21:8.

I am a Christian - I don't have a religion. I have a relationship with Jesus Christ and rely on his teachings as given through the inspiration of God to men and passed down through the King James Version of the Bible.

was born Muslim, but now i don't follow any religion. i found that there are good people in every religion, and all religious people want a sincere relationship with god. Why would god make only one path the true one when every one has the same good intentions? if you see religious people of ANY religion, preaching passionately and emotionally about how they found god youl find tha they all have the same exact reaction to their religion. which makes me think its all psychological.

Islam.
Islam. The main six pillars of Islamic faith are:
To have an absolute faith in:
1-God 2-His Angels 3- All His sent books
4-All of His messengers 5-The Judgment Day 6-Destiny, Good or bad.
Islam is strictly monotheist, in the five pillars of Islam (Different than six pillars of faith), the first and most important:
The testimony: There's no god but one God, and that Muhammad is his messenger. Of course, that doesn't exclude other messengers, as I said, believing in them is part of Islamic faith, including Jesus (Peace Be With Him). We do believe that Jesus came from Mary by God's great power, but we don't believe that he's God's son, but creation. The five pillars of Islam are:

1-The Testimonies"Al-Shahdatan (Two:Ashado anI La Elaha Ella Allah, or I testify there's no God but Allah, wa anna Mohammad rasool Allah, or: And Muhammad is His (final) messenger.
2-Prayer (Salat): Five times a day.
3-Fasting in the month of Ramadan"Sawm" (From sunrise to sunset).
4- Alms, compulsory Charity (Zakat): For those who can afford paying it to the poor. (2.5% , annually, IF your money reached a specific amount)
5-Pilgrimage to Kaaba in Mecca (Hajj) at least once in your lifetime if you can afford it physically and financially.

I am a follower of Jesus of Nazareth, the Jewish Messiah and Savior to the World. Jesus himself said that the two greatest commandments are "to love the Lord your God with all your Heart, Soul and Mind" and to love your neighbor as yourself. in these two things, all Christian bliefs are summed up.

Hope this answers your question.

converting to islam....believes in Allah and Mohammed (pbuh)....believes that even though people hate it and question it as some one who was raised christian when I came to learn about it, it has a power that makes u interested and u feel good...i never felt good about religion before..and to all people who put un-educated, brainless questions/remarks about Islam....just stop it....everyone is entitled to his or her own beliefs it is not your mission in life to insult people who have chosen/been born into ANY religion.....
