Two of my choices were mentioned, Maddie and Mathilda. If I recall correctly, back in the day, the British Bulldogs in the World Wrestling Federation had a bulldog named Mathilda.

Make a list of your favorite movies, tv shows, and bands. From that list, write down your favorite characters. Usually I can find a name I love that means something to me. My boyfriend wants an English Bulldog and favors the name Fezzik as in the giant from The Princess Bride. I want a boxer and want to name it Vendetta or Evey as in V for Vendetta. Our cats are Bam (as in Bam Margera from Jackass) and Stewie (the baby from Family Guy). Our newest addition is a gray kittie named Ash (half because of his color, and half because I played Pokemon on my Game Boy while sitting in the waiting room for his test results).
