I have raised orphan kittens on bottles before. You can get the bottles and the milk from you vet. Also pet centers and even wal marts here sell them. I have had kittens who have started eating a mixture of canned kitten food and milk at four weeks old as well. Good luck.

They really are too young yet for solid food; it can choke them. The vet will have special kitten milk, and the small feeder needed to transfer the milk to the kitty. Good pet shops should also stock the formula and the feeders, but the stuff from the vet is always the very best. I would try them on mashed up canned kitten food at about 7 weeks; if its dry, add a little water. They should have fresh water to drink all the time. Dont give them dried catfood until they are about six months old as it is known to choke them. \the best of luck, and thank you for caring.

Yes cows milk is dangerous, for humans also. Feed them their kitten formula, and if you are short $ you can use human infant milk. Offer some kitten food, and when they are ready they will eat. It takes about 2 weeks for the weaning process, and remember some are slower than other and you must give them the individual time they need to adjust to hard food.

You can try solid food now. Just soften it up with water if it is dry cat food. There is now special milk and bottles for kittens go to a local feed store or check it out online. I don't think it is very expensive.

i would take all the kittens to the vets in case the one not feeding has a bug which could infect all the other little ones. they will help you sort out the feeding problems and check for any other things that you may have overlooked. if money is a problem in the uk we have special cat charities that provide medical help and advice. hope your kittys do ok x

Call your vet. The best person to ask about specific questions is someone who has studied the specifics. I would say that some watered down kitten chow would be fine. If you still want to use milk, have you put it on your finger rubbed it on his nose? Usually this will force him to lick it off, and he might realize that he likes it and start feeding himself.
