Perhaps we should try and indulge in a game of fantasy, or shall we call it “scientific experimentation”:
1. Can you create “something” from “nothing”?
2. Can you give the nothing you “have created” life?

Good point.

In some strange way with all this living evidence,
a planet teeming with life,
some want to make believe there is no God.

I cannot make you believe anything. You must believe it on your own from the factual information that you have. Personally, I was raised without religion. I do not believe in God. I married a Catholic, and I would like to believe, but I cannot "make" myself believe. So, in the same vein, I cannot "make" you believe there is not a God.

This has nothing to do with creating or not. There is no "need" for creation. Either the Universe was here or it was created. (chicken and egg) If you look at the Bible, it is factually wrong regarding the Universe, but if you believe in God, you are taking that belief on faith anyway, so it does not matter.

As far as giving life, why not a lighting bolt into a bubbling pool of amino acids? Is that more farfetched than God "creating" life? It all depends on your point of view. As someone who was given the choice to look at all different religions, I can see and understand both sides without bias.

In the end, you believe what you believe and no one has the right to question that or say what is right or wrong because there is not any proof either way.

You cannot force someone to believe something against their will, so I cannot make you believe that there is no god. However, I hope that you are intelligent and rational enough to admit times when you could be wrong and change your beliefs to accomodate new knowledge.

1. Can you create something from nothing? Yes! I am imagining a cute little creature called a fuzzy-winker that I created in my mind. I have created a "thought". Question for you: if you cannot create something from nothing, where did god come from?

2. Can you give the nothing you "have created" life? Hmm. I guess that would depend on your definition of life. If I write a series of stories about fuzzy-winkers and people come to think them as true... wouldn't they be alive in those people's imaginations? If you are talking about physical reality, then no. That would violate the law of conservation of energy. Then again, so would a god.

That which is seen, does not come from that which is seen. Everything in the physical world comes from something non-physical first. Just like everything that you do comes from thoughts (a non-physical cause) or imagination or intention, etc.

Creating something from nothing depends on the definition of "nothing". When you make dinner, does it come from the ingredients you used, or from your understanding of a recipe, or from your imagination? If it's from the ingredients you use, then it has always been there, and you didn't create it. If it's from the other two, then it came from something non-physical: your imagination or your understanding of the recipe (which itself is someone elses thoughts). It's the same for everything physical that we create from cars to bridges to computer programs to what's considered "cool". It comes from a non-physical source to the physical. Ultimately, that non-physical source is the source of all things (God, in my opinion).

As for the 2nd question, nothing = no thing, but life is some thing, albeit non physical, so there might be mutual exclusivity to that question. Life is not movement, nor breathing, nor even thinking. It's conceptual. An understanding that we have due to our connection to the source of all things. (Again, God.)

there are two undeniable Gods we live with everyday and have been forever,Gaia the Earth mother from whom all life stems and the life giving forces of Baal(the Sun).

almost all religions have started out with these two Gods even Christianity has its roots with Baal (whereby the concept of Baal was transferred into Jehovah and the meaning was changed),

In many cases other stars or planets are included

Humanization of these celestrial bodies, and manipulations of religious authorities, coupled to peoples imaginations have distorted the general accepted view of these deities, over the millenniums.

Both the Earth and the Sun are far more believable gods
than,if we are to believe the 300.000 old story ,
the Anunaki ,who was known as the creator, who bred humans to work in his gold mines(.And who arrogantly became God in the minds of these people)

The symbolic story of Adam, applied to this created slave race.,and the subsequent religion that we have to put up with today ,was initiated here to give meaning to the lives of these people and to control them.

Still today the descendants of the creator maintain control and are known as the Illuminati.

All efforts have been made by them to conceal the truth ,which has been emerging nevertheless.

And yes there are Gods but no it is not the creator

And i do not believe that Earth was the first place where human life originated,

there is too much reference to ancient colonizations from the stars ,by probably various races

You should make yourself believe if there is or isn't a God.Go examine your beliefs and opinions pertaining to this matter. It all depends on you and your beliefs.I grew up in an environment ,surrounded by those who all believed that there was a God;so I guess I grew up believing in God ,because of the environment inwhich I was raised. If I was to put this idea aside, I would still believe in God, because I dont think we just came about (without a purpose or specific way). So the answer to your question is: NO, I can't .

The same questions would remain unanswered from a religious perspective. You could not convince an non-believer that an entity created the universe out of will and just made it live. That is as implausible as spontanteous generation. Apparently it is a matter of what you choose to believe.

Alright, I'll bite on your obvious ploy. So your assertion is that there is a god because scientists can't create something from nothing? First of all, scientists are not forces of the universe, and we're not worshiping scientists, so really this is a moot point, so I'll continue to play, fine. Prove to me that the universe came into existence from nothing. Why does it have to be that the universe didn't exist, then suddenly did? I say it always existed. Impossible, you say? Then so is god, who has always existed, right?

Sorry, I lose. I can't create anything. Everything I have has already been created. The only thing that derived any life from me is my son, and even then I was only the carrier, for he was knitted within my womb! I'm sorry I can't convince you there's no God - hello! What am I saying - I'm not sorry at all - because like you I'd like to see the person who can!

Though I'm a believer myself-- you pushed me to the challenge. If it is impossible to get something with life from nothing-- where did God come from? It's circular logic to just answer "Well He just was!"-- the science based people could say the same to you about the universe.
