He didn't say much. He just sat there with a thousand yead stare all red eyed. He was talking to himself sofly....Saying "It wasn't supposed to be like this....I was lied to by my beloved Marines....The enemy is fighting back.....It's not like a video game....I want to go home." With that he hung his head and cried. It was touching to me. I was so sad to watch that.

Was he the same moron who signed up just so he can get a free education? Anybody who joins the military and later says "it wasn't supposed to be like this" is a moron!. What did you think it was supposed to be like? Rambo movies? bang bang, bad guys are dead, good guys come home and all the hot chicks throw themselves at them? I actually do blame the military for not knocking sense into these kids before they join, to make them realize that this is NOT a game.
I would never join the military because I'm intelligent enough to hate having a moron tell me what to do all the time, but what is going on in Iraq is normal and part of a war. Too bad the bad guys have so many rights and privildges (like posting their questions here).

Trust you to be a CNN watcher. It must be the best show on Television for people like you who so hate the US Military. People are still enlisting in the Military Because they want TO. And not because they have to. Of course its a very sad sight to Watch. Anyone who would say differently would be a liar. But WAR is never meant to be a pleasant thing. and some people are never Prepared for it despite the training they are given. Only the test of real Battle do the Horror's of war Manifest them selves on the unprepared.

So you are up to your fooloshness again....why do you disgrace yourself in this way anyways? I think the person who said you are doing this for attention was right...you probally were the one in school who used to set yourself up for others to dislike so you could cry to the teacher to get attention...You need some serious help, dude !!
War is not pretty and anyone who has signed up & is clueless to the reality of it....should be crying about how foolish they were to even think for one minute it would be easy to do..
Guess because you are disgruntle about life you get your jollies out of ditching our troops. They are dying everyday for Commies like you to be able to have the freedom to speak such trash.
The media always hipes things up....funny they were all wondering when Bush would finally be the President who said no more messing with the USA..we sat back while the extremeists attacked us..They were all there when Congress voted 100% to send our troops out too...NATO & the UN had no problem sending us in the first time....
.it's time to find some thing else to *itch about....hopefully you'll use up all your points asking such cold hearted questions...
Chin up there soldier...you were one of them too..right....or were you a Navy man who sat on a ship and flagged the jets off .
As for a soldier.....you don't fit the bill either....

That's right blame the soldier or Marine and not the other side. Don't blame the extremist for their actions they must be OK. I wonder what type of question you might have asked when Clinton was in office and he sent the military to do a job and then failed to support them properly.
Do you really like this attention you are getting? You sure get a lot. Does it make you feel special? Your Not.

It's great of you to use this as a way to mold the minds of young, dumb Americans. What is nearly as disturbing as you are the young people who agree with you and believe in everything someone puts online without first doing research.

Touching to you eh? this is coming from the same moron--you don't seem to have enough balls to be called a man-- who continues to speak poorly of the troops in Iraq in an attempt to make them look bad.

Love it or leave it buddy

A lot of soldiers feel that way for the first couple of months they're in a war zone. I'm not going to be too specific, but I know of an instance in which a bunch of people just arrived in Iraq and their base got attacked so they were all crying.

Young soldiers have cried after and during battle since people were slinging rocks at each other.

If you had ever been in combat, which with respect as a dog handler I dont think you have, you will know that the sight of your best mate with his entrails hanging out can effect you temporarily until the training kicks back in.

Soldiers and airmen and sailors cried every day during World War 2...should we have just brought them home and left Adolph to it?
