That is a very good question. Most days, I wouldn't think of it. Bogey is a member of the family. Today, however, after I came home from work and found one of my favorite sandals chewed to ribbons, his water bowl turned over with water all over the kitchen floor, and dog hair and slobber on my favorite recliner, I'd probably sell for him six bucks and a new pair of shoes.

First, I would inquire about the buyer... Why are you willing to pay a million dollars for my old dog? Second, I would look at where the dog was going to end up. A million dollars is a lot of money, and I can only imagine what I could do with it, but my pets are my family members and I would never put a price on their love and friendship. Like someone else said, if my pup was going to go to a good home, I might do it and use a good portion of that money to help other dogs who haven't been so fortunate.

I rescued my dog when she was 10 years old. If I knew she would get a real good home, the answer is yes. I could then rescue another, actually many others with a million dollars...

Absolutely NOT. That would be like asking to sell your child or brother/sister ... OK, wait, brother/sister not a good comparison, because I would sell either for a lot less than a million $$.

No never. My dog is part of the family I would never do that to her. She is worth more to me than money. I would just rather be poor.

No matter how you feel about your dog, that is a hard question to answer and be truth full about.

I would not want to have to make that decision.
