Today, we were having elections at our school. Theres this one boy that i REALLY think should not be running for presidnet. I am also running for presidnet, and since i thought it was unfair, and also because these kids were teasing me and hurting my feelings, i decided i would go to the vice principal, me and him are close. And when i was telling him, since i get kinda emotional easily, i started to get teary eyed and he said"dont get upset" and i started to cry... idk it was kinda weird.. do u think i made a fool of myself?
I also in the beginning didnt know how to put in to words how to say that the kid shouldnt run.. and i sounded really bratty..

I'm sure it felt like more of a spectacle to you than it did to the VP. He's probably had similar situations with other students over the years.
I wouldn't worry too much about it; except that if you feel you sounded really bratty, you may want to write a note of apology. You might also find it easier to explain your position in writing than just trying to blurt it out, too.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure your vp understood where you were coming from (and the fact that girls of certain ages can get pretty emotional).
When I start to get teary-eyed, and some one tells me not to cry, I always start to cry, too. I don't know why. It just happens and I can't control it.
Anyhow, it'll all blow over soon. Good luck in your election.

In a democracy you can not go to the principal and say I don't think this kid should run for office. The people have to decide that by a vote for or against.

you probably seemed no different than other people around your age. plus, a lot of people are emotional like that- so that is nothing to be embarassed by, but do work on controlling it better.

yeah and if he wins, don't get angry, just be happy for him. don't worry, sh!t happens and i cry a lot too and get emotional easily.
