Just as we are about to fall asleep, our brain tells our mind that it has to release a special enzyme from the brain that will allow us to sleep without twitching.

Don't worry, it takes about 10 minutes for the brain to do this. This prevents natural body movements while we sleep. Every has this , and it is a natural part of our body.

It is your body relaxing!!

Everybody does it to some degree. If you watch a new baby or a child, they seem to twich all the time during sleep.
It is like turning off a light, if you listen very closely you will hear it tick or buzz slightly. It is just cooling off and shutting down, in the same way our body does when we sleep!

i dunno why that happens but sometimes i get it. Like, you feel like you're falling or something and you jump of fright or twitch and it wakes you up. It's so annoying! It mostly happens to me if i'm with other people eg. at the beach or on a bus.
