well, i can only speak for what works for me but please give it a try. pop in your favorite kind of music and crank it up. sing along and get lost in someone elses story for a while. before you know it you'll be forgetting about what brought you down in the first place. music helps to tune the rest of the world out for a little while.

Get out of the house. Vollunteer. Help others. Get involved. Get off the blasted computer and turn off the TV. Stop reading the news paper and the online news. (News depresses a lot of people.) Talk about your problems with a priest /rabbi, or other religious person.

Sunlight works wonders. We need Vitamin D from the sun to help us stay happy everyday. A Centrum Vitamin will also help with that if you can't get outdoors.
