I think i've met the girl of my dreams in HS and i think we actually have a future together, is this possible at all?

We've been dating for nearly 8 months, and i wouldnt be asking this if i didnt know her inside and out.

Great answer from mlgjst. Anything is possible. But don't count your chickens before they hatch. There are plenty of girls out there. Deciding your fate with one just isn't fair to either of you. I have a friend who thought she met her true love in high school. They decided that he would get her a ring with their next paycheck and upon graduating, they would marry. Not a month later, he ended up cheating on her and (being noble) broke it off by telling her about it himself.
However, my sister is married to her high school sweetheart and they are expecting a baby girl in their sweet matrimony. They've even bought a house together.
I hope you two find happiness where few have. The results are endless. Best of luck.

there's nothing like being too young to find love. just so u know. As long as you two keep doing ur thing and treating each other right, it's possible that u might get married in the future.
U might not be as serious now, but u can get more serious as u both grow up and make serious decisions like marriage.

Yes it is possible. I met my husband when we were in 7th grade. We started dating in HS. We have been married now for almost 13 years.

Anything is possible, I know a couple of people who were togethers since high school and now they are married and have 2 kids. So Yeah anything is possible.

its definntly possible to find your one true love in hs....thats the term high school sweethearts is all about....as long as she thinks the same way about your relationship go the whole mile..nobody will stop you unless your parents diapprove of it. maybe if you really think it can happen get a promise ring for her! good luck

its been known to happen, but most people do think they find the love of their lives in high school..why? because they aren't even grown up enough to realize what their life is about yet so how do you know what the love of your life will be about? people change, for now have fun, enjoy it, don't make any stupid mistakes (like pregnancy) and see what happens, if it is the love of your life you'll figure it out in about 10 years.

that's kinda early and i believe it is easy to see an illusion, an illusion that u have the girl of ur dreams when really its not there! i never say never but its unrealistic that u found the love of ur life in high school!

I have known this to happen...
best example: my computer net working teacher met his wife during recess in elementary school, and almost 40 years later, they still enjoy each other more than alot of other couples I know.
