If your looking to get trained in the IT side of health care it depends on which country your from. In most western countries you will see Windows XP/2000 used on all the computers. UNIX may be used on the servers (especially large facilities and older facilities). As for the medical equipment itself you would need an appropriate degree/certificate to operate it (eg an x-ray machine has its own software).
